365 - Brian

Ugh, I feel like I'm slightly behind on this.  I decided that I wanted to do a very relaxed 365 on Brian...and I'll say again...very relaxed.  I don't get a chance to take a photo every day although I am going to start making a real effort from now on.  But, here is what we've got so far....

Hope you enjoyed!!!

Elf...not so much on a shelf

So, this year we decided to start the Elf on the Shelf tradition and I have to say it's been fun and it's only been three day!!  By far the best part is waking up and seeing what Brian thinks of when his elf has moved!

So, we let him name his Elf....and although we tried our hardest to get him to use a name like trusty, or giddy...he chose........Dolphin.  Yup, you heard me Dolphin like the mammal.  I see him being renamed in the future....anyways...here is what Dolphin has been up to...

He came to us and decided that sitting in the basket of ornaments was the perfect place!

After returning to us that first night...we found him on top of the camera display.

Looks like Dolphin saw Brian get out of bed so he wrote him a note...hope he follows!!!

Meet Baby L

What a sweet sweet squishy baby she was, and look at how adorably cute she is!!!  Daddy has defiantly got his hands full with her and her big sister!!  Between Daddy and their big brother these girls will be well looked after.  At 7lbs and 3oz she was a good size baby and a whopping 19.5 inches in length!!!  I would defiantly say Mom did an amazing job!!!

I met Veronica, the mom, through a great program called Mops.  I may have mentioned it a time or two!  She has been such a great asset to Mops and such a great person to get to know.  I am truly thankful she trust me with her childrens photos.

Alexis Senior Portraits

So I woke up Saturday morning looked at the weather bug app (is that just not the greatest thing!).  When I saw that it was 40 degrees outside I pretty much expected to get a phone call or get to the location and reschedule.  Lets face it we live in South Texas where in October it was upwards of 80 degree weather, we are not used to 40 degrees this late in the year!!!

So, image my surprise when she was up for it!!  We kept jacket on hand so that after I got the shots she could put it back on...asap!  She totally rocked this session and was awesome about it!

I'm not sure I would be able to wear a spaghetti strap blouse in 40 degree weather and look this great!!!

Girls Rule!!

In this house they do!!  My very good friend who I met at Mops (Mothers of Pre-Schoolers) was supposed to get her daughters six month photos done but since her hubby was getting deployed sooner than she thought she asked if she could switch it to a family session.  So, this became an OpLove inspired session (not an actual oplove session).

I just adore this family, and so does my son.  Her 2 year old is one of Brian's girlfriends and he just loves hanging out with her.

Eden, the two year old is extremely independent and she was on a mission to get away from the camera.  I love this photo as it shows some of Edens Independence!!  What a great kid!

Of course Mom can always get smiles out of their little ones and Bethany is one of the best mom's I know!

This by far is my favorite from the group!!!  I love the sun flare!!!

Mom + Dad + Kids = One awesome family!!

Meet the Phillips family.  Not only are they adorable but those kids are so much fun!!  I know, I know I say that all the time, but I guess that is what happens when you adore your job!  But seriously, they were up for whatever I threw at them.

I just love the above photo!!!  It so funny to see what poses kids have when you tell them..."Give me your model pose"!

Is this not the cutest family ever!!!

I'm so glad my family session season has started.  I love meeting new families and seeing how much they are connected and how much they love each other!!

Little Miss G

Little Gracie is always a barrel of laughs on our shoots!!  Although I will say that I think I was laughing more than she was, gorgeous eyes, killer smile and a great sense of humor....boy her daddy better keep her close.  I know my son is smitten with her!!

I have had the pleasure of shooting her and her brother for their past few sessions.  It started with a fathers day mini shoot I did for the Lackland Enlisted Spouses Club, then I did her brothers four year session and now her two year session.  I just LOVE shooting these family!!!!

I warned you she was a doll!!!  I find myself looking forward to shooting her and her brother!
